What Is This All About?

Loosely defined, blinkies generally refer to those little animated gifs that you can find on a lot of diary/blog/personal sites. Most of the times these blinkies are used as links to other sites, or used as personal signature tags.

Done tastefully, most blinkies fall under the 'cute' category...but sometimes blinkie makers get a bit over-excited and the end result is a multi-coloured fit-inducing froth-producing disaster. (I'm quite sure I've done a few of these before...)

Strictly speaking, blinkies are blocks of letters that jiggle around / change colour / both; sometimes with a little gif picture attached. Buttons/codes are non-animated pictures, with standard sizes in pixels such as 88x31, 50x50, 100x50, 100x35, 88x15.

For my site, I'm doing both animated letter blocks and animated buttons, but I refer to both as blinkies (since they, well, blink). Back in the days when I had so much time on my hands, I used to accept requests for customs. Unfortunately I no longer do that; instead I make blinkies according to whatever themes that pop into my head at that time; or sometimes I browse around other listings and make donations/gift codes instead. However I do accept suggestions for blinkie themes :)

Terms for use are the same as any other sites:
If you want my blinkies for adoptions -- right-click > save to your computer > upload to your own host. DO NOT direct link to mine!
If you like the donations/gift codes -- click on the link on the page to visit the site, and follow the instructios from there.
